CFPA-E is the 'Confederation of Fire Protection Agencies in Europe'. CFPA-E is an association of organizations that was founded in 1974 and is today considered the leading organization in the field of fire protection in Europe. The predecessor organization of Swiss Safety Center AG, the Fire Protection Service (BVD), is one of the founding members. By origin, the member organizations are particularly active in the field of fire protection. Today, CFPA-Europe is dedicated to promoting safety in a variety of areas, including fire protection, explosion protection, security and natural hazards. By collaborating with other leading organizations in the field of fire protection and safety, CFPA-Europe enables its members to benefit from their experience and expertise.
